Her interests focus particularly on large-scale experimental and immersive performing arts projects, researching topics such as expanded narratives and the poetics of technology. A creator of multimedia projects since the late 1990s, Carmen is the artistic director of <a href=\"https:\/\/laquintadelobo.net\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/laquintadelobo.net\">La Quinta del Lobo<\/a> and founder of <a href=\"https:\/\/retahex.net\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/retahex.net\">RETA.HEX<\/a> (network of technodiversities and hybrid and expanded arts). She has curated various art, science, and technology exhibitions, including VOLTAJE between 2014 and 2023.
