Positioned at the intersection of design practice, prompt engineering, and ethics, the study provided 14 undergraduate students with a structured opportunity to experiment with generative AI tools while critically examining their practical and ethical implications in student-selected wearable technology design contexts. Following a studio-based format, students generated and iteratively refined design variations, documented prompt sequences, and evaluated AI outputs using a framework centered on susceptibility to stereotypes, representational distortion, proximity to protected intellectual property, environmental and health burdens, and degree of control in human-AI co-creation. The findings support that prompt engineering is not merely a technical exercise, but a site of critical intervention through which designers can shape outputs toward more inclusive, sustainable, and ethically grounded outcomes. By foregrounding downstream design decisions and the shifting balance between designer intent and model autonomy, the study supported students in developing critical AI literacy and a deeper understanding of responsible co-creation. The paper argues that wearable technology design education offers a productive site for examining how AI can enhance, rather than override, human judgment, domain expertise, and creative resilience.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Este trabajo presenta hallazgos de un estudio de aula de varias semanas sobre la integraci\u00f3n de la \u00e9tica en la educaci\u00f3n del dise\u00f1o de tecnolog\u00eda vestible, utilizando un marco de colaboraci\u00f3n responsable entre humanos e IA. Situado en la intersecci\u00f3n entre la pr\u00e1ctica del dise\u00f1o, la ingenier\u00eda de prompts y la \u00e9tica, el estudio brind\u00f3 a 14 estudiantes de pregrado una oportunidad estructurada para experimentar con herramientas de IA generativa mientras examinaban cr\u00edticamente sus implicaciones pr\u00e1cticas y \u00e9ticas en contextos de dise\u00f1o de tecnolog\u00eda vestible elegidos por los propios estudiantes. Siguiendo un formato tipo taller, los estudiantes generaron y refinaron iterativamente variaciones de dise\u00f1o, documentaron secuencias de prompts y evaluaron los resultados de la IA utilizando un marco centrado en la susceptibilidad a los estereotipos, la distorsi\u00f3n representacional, la proximidad a propiedad intelectual protegida, las cargas ambientales y de salud, y el grado de control en la co-creaci\u00f3n humano-IA. Los hallazgos respaldan que la ingenier\u00eda de prompts no es meramente un ejercicio t\u00e9cnico, sino un espacio de intervenci\u00f3n cr\u00edtica a trav\u00e9s del cual los dise\u00f1adores pueden orientar los resultados hacia desenlaces m\u00e1s inclusivos, sostenibles y \u00e9ticamente fundamentados. Al poner en primer plano las decisiones de dise\u00f1o posteriores y el equilibrio cambiante entre la intenci\u00f3n del dise\u00f1ador y la autonom\u00eda del modelo, el estudio ayud\u00f3 a los estudiantes a desarrollar una alfabetizaci\u00f3n cr\u00edtica en IA y una comprensi\u00f3n m\u00e1s profunda de la co-creaci\u00f3n responsable.
